اتحاد الإعلاميين اليمنيين يستنكر تجاهل “مراسلون بلا حدود” لجرائم التحالف السعودي بحق الصحفيين في اليمن

عبر اتحاد الإعلاميين اليمنيين اليوم الخميس عن أسفه إزاء مؤشرات التقرير السنوي لمنظمة “مراسلون بلا حدود” المعنية بحرية الإعلام، والذي ظهر منحازا للتحالف السعودي الذي يشن حربا شرسة على اليمن، حيث تجاهل تقريره للعام 2018م الصادر مؤخرا جرائم وانتهاكات التحالف السعودي بحق الصحفيين اليمنيين وآخرها القتل المتعمد من خلال القصف الجوي لأربعة إعلاميين وعاملين في إذاعة الحديدة غرب اليمن.

وأكد الاتحاد غي بيان صادر عنه أن الإنتهاكات المتواصلة لتحالف الحرب العدوانية على اليمن التي أصبحت مشهودة على الصعيد الإنساني الدولي، ما تزال مغيبة في تقارير “مراسلون بلا حدود” والمنظمات المعنية، نتيجة التضليل الممنهج الذي تتولاه وسائل الإعلام الممولة سعوديا، والمعلومات غير النزيهة لبعض من المنظمات اليمنية المحلية التي تفتقر تقاريرها إلى الحياد والموضوعية.

كما دعا اتحاد الإعلاميين اليمنيين منظمة “مراسلون بلا حدود” والمنظمات الدولية المماثلة إلى تحري الدقة في رصد مختلف الجرائم والانتهاكات بحق الإعلام والصحافة في اليمن والكشف عن الجناة الفعليين، والعمل من أجل تحقيق دولي محايد يقود إلى إعمال آليات الانتصاف والمساءلة، وفقا للمواثيق الدولية ذات الصلة.

*Yemeni Media Union Condemns The “Reporters Without Borders” Ignoring For The Crimes Of The Saudi Coalition Against Journalists In Yemen*

The Yemeni Media Union (YMU) expresses its regret over the indicators of the annual report of Reporters Without Borders on freedom of the press, which appeared biased towards the Saudi alliance, which is waging a fierce war against Yemen. The report of 2018 recently issued ignored crimes and violations by the Saudi coalition against Yemeni journalists, lastly, targeting four journalists and employees in Hodeidah Radio in western Yemen.

*The ongoing violations of the war on aggression against Yemen, which has become internationally recognized, are still absent in the reports of Reporters Without Borders and the organizations concerned, as a result of systematic misrepresentation by Saudi-funded media and unfair information by some local Yemeni organizations whose reports lack impartiality and objectivity.*

Yemeni Media Union calls upon Reporters Without Borders and similar international organizations to investigate the various crimes and violations against the media and the press in Yemen and identify the actual perpetrators and to work towards an impartial international investigation leading to the implementation of the mechanisms of redress and accountability in accordance with the relevant international conventions .
